The 2016 Zinfandel contains 6% Petite Sirah. Medium garnet-purple colored, it gives up preserved plums, raspberry pie and Black Forest cake with baking spices, underbrush and potpourri in the background. The palate is full-bodied, plush and juicy with loads of earth and spice layers on the finish.

Soft and jammy, with easygoing raspberry, toasty and pepper flavors. Drink now through 2022.

A lot of sweetness comes through the initially spicy and complex aromas of this high-octane wine, turning to maple and milk chocolate on the palate wrapped in a soft, low-acid texture.

Incorporating 5% Petite Sirah, the 2017 Zinfandel offers plenty of baked cherry and plum fruits as well as spice and cedar notes, medium body, and a sweetly fruited yet grippy style on the palate.
