Marcelo Pelleriti Reserve Malbec 2014

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

The wines created by Marcelo Pelleriti are performed with the utmost care and dedication. Vine where they originate, enjoys climatic and geographical conditions especially conducive to achieve great results. The wine is made respecting the great wine tradition: manual harvests, lack of fertilizers and, above all, transport of the grape by gravity. The wines are made entirely by hand and the grapes are facing a double selection: in the bunch and grain by grain.

James SucklingAromas of blackberries, walnuts and hints of chocolate follow through to a medium to full body, silky tannins and a long finish. Love the slightly bitter aftertaste.

Wine AdvocateThe 2014 Reserva Malbec is produced from grapes sourced from small plots of old vines sourced from different growers in La Consulta and Altamira in the Valle de Uco. It fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts and 70% of the volume was put in used French oak barrels for six months while the rest was kept in tank. This is a classical, proportioned, ripe but balanced, well-oaked but without excess Malbec. The palate reveals notes of violets and spices and very fine tannins, with a slightly dusty texture and a faintly bitter finish. 34,600 bottles produced.
