Chateau Malmaison Moulis en Médoc 2010
With a permanent quality objective in producing this wine, the grapes are harvested manually, then sorted on tables before being vatted. Vinication then takes place in stainless steel vats with automated temperature control. Malmaison wines are then patiently aged for 16 months in new barrels and barrels that have been used once. Since 1997, Baroness Nadine de Rothschild has continued the legacy of this property in keeping with the wishes of her husband.
Wine SpectatorForward, with a floral hint and fresh, polished plum and cassis notes. A modest dose of toasted vanilla shows on the finish. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now. 6,600 cases made.
